“Checkout charity” is a great way to engage your customers in giving back to their community. Providing opportunities for customers to donate to a specific charity by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar is becoming more and more common. This is a great way to build customer loyalty.

This positive view of companies leads to growth in customer loyalty and higher sales. During 2021, Walmart ran a 1 month round up campaign for United Way. During that one month time frame, over $1700 was raised for programs in our community by asking customers to simply donate their change, and round up to the nearest dollar.
