 s a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive
  from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor\, Felipe Venegas\, was the silve
 rsmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the 
 first European coins in the New World. He has been teaching jewelry and si
 lversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 years. In addition\, he has bee
 n featured in The Standard Examiner\, The Signpost\, KUTV Inside the Story
 \, FOX13 Good Morning Utah\, The Salt Project and KTVX Good Things Utah.\n
