  fun and exciting copper Santa making workshop\; just in time for the holi
 days.\n\nWhat:\nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn the basics of copper bowl 
 making\, from shaping the metal to hammering and polishing it to a shine. 
 You’ll also have the opportunity to get creative and design your own uniqu
 e Santa bowl.\n\nWe will provide all the necessary supplies\, including co
 pper sheets\, tools\, and instructions. No experience is necessary\, so ev
 eryone is welcome.\n\nHere’s what to expect:\n\nWe’ll start using hammers 
 and shaping tools to create your bowl/trivet.\nOnce your bowl is shaped\, 
 we’ll use sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges.\nFinally\, we’ll polish
  your bowl to a beautiful shine.\nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have
  a beautiful and functional copper bowl/trivet that you can use hold jewle
 ry\, keys\, or simply display as a work of art.\n\nCost:\n$55 per person\n
 \nAges:\n16+. Younger kids can attend if accompanied by an adult.  Please 
 note that there is a lot of hammering involved in this class and younger k

 l Ave in down town Ogden\, just a little south of the Megaplex.\n\nHow To

 ll be taught by Rene Venegas\, a 16th generation silversmith. His family w
 as one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor\, F
 elipe Venegas\, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Domini
 can Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World.  He ha
 s been teaching jewelry and silversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 y
 ears. In addition\, he has been featured in The Standard Examiner\, The Si
 gnpost\, KUTV Inside the Story\,  FOX13 Good Morning Utah\, The Salt Proje
