 s Day!! \n\nWhat:\nLearn the basics of silver jewelry making\, including s
 haping\, and polishing. In this class\, you’ll learn how to make your own 
 unique silver ring from scratch. You’ll start by finding your ring size. W
 e will cut a piece of silver that will become your ring. Then\, you’ll use
  a variety of tools to shape\, add texture. Finally\, you’ll polish your r
 ing to a beautiful shine.  We will provide a jewelry box to treasure your 
 ring in.  And while we work\, we will provide some treats.\n\nHave fun and
  make lasting memories with friends.\n\nNo experience is necessary\, so ev
 eryone is welcome. Our experienced instructor will guide you every step of
  the way.\n\nA private class is also available. Please inquire.\n\nCost:\n
 $50 per person\n\nAges:\n16+. Younger kids can attend if accompanied by an

 taught by Rene Venegas\, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one
  of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor\, Felipe 
 Venegas\, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Re
 public and stamped the first European coins in the New World.  He has been
  teaching jewelry and silversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 years. 
 In addition\, he has been featured in The Standard Examiner\, The Signpost
 \, KUTV Inside the Story\,  FOX13 Good Morning Utah\, The Salt Project and
  KTVX Good Things Utah.
