It's one day to you. It's everything to a child.
Help Keep a Northern Utah Family Warm and Fed This Winter.
One child might dream about Santa and presents this holiday season. Another child just wants to stay warm on the way to school. Another child hopes not to go to bed hungry tonight.
This season, families are in need more than ever before. Demand at local food banks is expected to increase over the holidays. The financial situation of many families during COVID-19 has made it difficult for many to buy basic necessities like food and clothing. That's why, for this year's Giving Tuesday campaign, we're focusing on our Warm Clothing Drive and Community Food Drive.
Here's what your donation can buy:
$10 provides 20 cans of fruits and vegetables OR six pairs of gloves
$25 provides seven pantry packs OR one coat
$50 provides 10 dinners for a family of four OR two hat, gloves, and scarf sets
$100 provides holiday turkeys for four families OR coats for a family of four
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. When you give to United Way of Northern Utah through Giving Tuesday this year, your donations will go directly to local nonprofits who serve Northern Utah families. Your contribution will help members of the Northern Utah community stay warm and fed this winter.
