Messages like "I hate school" and "I'm not smart enough" don't always tell the whole story for a struggling student. A hungry child can't concentrate in school, knowing there's not enough to eat at home. A busy teen may not graduate due to a stressful or unstable family life.

At United Way of Northern Utah, we look beyond the labels to address the real reasons our community struggles, and we rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations throughout the community to help fund the solutions to these problems.

Your donation will help provide food and shelter to families in crisis. It will provide parent education and early childhood programs to strengthen families and give kids a great start in life. You will be supporting tutoring, mentoring, job training, financial coaching, and other local resources that help build healthy, stable, and prosperous lives for every person in our community.
