Blog

Procter & Gamble has operations in nearly 70 countries and one of the strongest portfolios of trusted, quality brands—used by nearly 5 billion people around the world. Local plants provide community support focused on providing health, hygiene, and the comforts of home—areas where their products can be more impactful than ever.

The Procter & Gamble Plant in Bear River City actively works to enrich the lives of its employees and their families and to nurture the communities that they live in. They support local agencies through in-kind donations. In addition, they offer their time through volunteer work in their communities, including the 2018 United Way Day of Caring project in Brigham City.

Procter & Gamble has supported local United Ways since 1915, and the Box Elder plant has participated in an annual workplace giving campaign for 9 years, since its opening in 2010.

  • Workplace Campaign: Employees give generously to the local community through their annual workplace campaign.
  • Volunteer Engagement: Employees participated in United Way’s 2018 Box Elder Day of Caring, in partnership with Habitat of Humanity of Northern Utah, cleaning up neighborhoods and repairing homes in Brigham City. Employees also volunteer for other nonprofits, schools, and community organizations.
  • In Kind Donations: The Box Elder Plant has donated brand products to Northern Utah nonprofits and residents during flood and fire emergencies. The plant regularly runs internal food drives with their employees and supports local nonprofits with basic needs commodities.
