We are stronger united.
We are a community. We care about each other. We support each other in our time of need.
When a challenge impacts our community, we work together to solve it. One person can be influential, but when an entire community united behind a cause, change happens. Northern Utah, this is our opportunity to become stronger united.
You can make a difference. Support your community by giving to the Community Coronavirus Fund. Your contribution uplifts your neighbors through local nonprofits that help with the following:
- Food banks
- Rental assistance
- Homeless shelters
- Crisis nurseries and child care providers
- Health care services
- 2-1-1 Information and Referral
- Domestic Violence Shelters
Through the Community Coronavirus Fund, United Way of Northern Utah helps fund agencies, such as YCC Family Crisis Center in Ogden, that provide resources to people in need during the pandemic. Domestic violence has unfortunately escalated over the last few months. Your gift to the Community Coronavirus Fund helps local agencies here in Northern Utah that reach out to our community.
YCC client D.H. says, "The YCC assisted me through all of the steps of ending over 33 years of abuse - the crisis rescue, education, taking over my own life, and emotional support ongoing. Without YCC I could not have made this journey! The YCC has programs that are not found elsewhere and are absolutely necessary to the journey."
YCC Family Crisis Center is a non-profit organization incorporated to enhance the safety of women, children and men by providing crisis intervention and advocacy services to reduce and prevent the occurrence of family violence and sexual assault through education and community awareness.
