One afternoon, a home visitor from the Welcome Baby program decided to pack a set of diapers when visiting a new family. When the home visitor arrived, a young mother opened the door and burst into tears. She had just put her last diaper on her baby and didn’t get paid until next week. She was feeling helpless, not knowing how to make ends meet. This woman was able to receive a pack of diapers because a company had donated 2 full carloads of baby items and 1000 diapersthe week before.
