AmeriCorps Home Visitation Coordinator

AmeriCorps Members are on the front lines of expanding the Welcome Baby program to new areas of Utah. They work at a variety of sites (from medical clinics to community agencies) to enroll families, manage a team of home visitors, and bring attention to our program in their communities. We are looking for AmeriCorps members in Weber, Davis, Box Elder, Summit, Cache, and Salt Lake Counties.

AmeriCorps is a national network of programs that address critical community needs right here at home. The Welcome Baby Initiative of Utah is funded in part by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and the Utah State Commission on Volunteers. People of all ages have the opportunity to provide valuable service to medical sites, families and their young children in their community while gaining job experience and valuable life skills.

We want people who have:

  • a passion for supporting families in their community
  • an interest in early childhood education
  • a service-driven mindset
  • a desire to gain leadership experience
