Volunteer Opportunity Details: For just 2 hours a week you can make the difference in the life of a child. Tutors are assigned to the same school and student for the entire year to ensure consistent, quality reading tutoring.
DYAD Reading Method: The tutoring program uses the DYAD method which is when a tutor reads a story and uses their finger to track where they are. Research shows that this method improves reading levels in students. You can learn more about the method here.
