Kickoff!: We kicked off Day of Caring at Union Station, where volunteers enjoyed a complimentary breakfast, received a Day of Caring t-shirt, and heard inspiring remarks reflecting on the legacy of September 11 and the power of honoring that day through service to others.
165 volunteers, 14 corporations 21 projects benefiting Ogden Nature Center, Ogden Union Station, George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park, Youth Impact, and Catholic Community services.Volunteers did tasks that ranged from cleaning museum spaces to helping set up for a fundraising event. Throughout the day, a sense of joy and pride was seen at the sites and among the volunteers.
