Training - Facilitating Effective Meetings (Ogden)
United Way Northern Utah Nonprofit Connection will offer training on how to effectively facilitate meetings. This hands-on session will teach practical skills for leading effective meetings, guiding group discussions, and making informed decisions using data. Whether you're hosting community forums or strategic planning sessions, this training will help you lead with clarity and purpose.

Nonprofit Connection Monthly Nonprofit Tour - Family Support Center of Ogden
Northern Utah nonprofits are invited to join a 50-minute tour of the Family Support Center of Ogden. This is an event not to be missed.

Nonprofit Connection Roundtable - Executive Directors
Join fellow nonprofit executive directors for a roundtable discussion, lead by experienced nonprofit executive, Don Hickman. Don is a four-time Executive Director of a nonprofit and twelve years as a member board of a nonprofit board directors.
Additionally, Don is a retired Air Force Colonel who is passionate about making the outdoors accessible to everyone, especially disabled individuals and veterans. He's a certified adaptive and cross-country ski instructor, and volunteers as a guide and coach for the US Paralympic Nordic Team. When not coaching, Don enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, fly fishing, and backpacking. He lives in Ogden Valley with his wonderful wife.

Join fellow Nonprofit Directors for a dynamic Roundtable exploring practical uses of Generative AI—from brainstorming and outlining to analysis and editing—in nonprofit work. We’ll discuss the tools you're using (or avoiding), the benefits and real concerns, and what a thoughtful, human-centered integration of AI could look like.
The event features Dr. Sarah Steimel. Sarah is a professor in the Communication Department and Associate Dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at Weber State University.
