211: Connect. Inform. Empower.

Hannah is a single parent who works unreliable and unpredictable hours at a manufacturing company. Her unconventional schedule made it difficult to secure childcare. Hannah's unreliable hours led unpredictable pay. She often didn't know if or when she could afford groceries, and her unconventional hours meant she could never get to the food pantry during operating hours. This left Hannah unsure of when or how she could feed her kids each meal.

Searching for support, Hannah dialed 211. Immediately, 211 signed Hannah up for the Last Mile Delivery program, which sent a food box to her door weekly. Additionally, 211 connected Hannah to resources for childcare and after-school programs.

With 211’s direction, Hannah was able to secure some stability in her life and ensure her family always had sustenance.

211 can connect you to resources for mental health, education, basic needs, childcare, and more. Just call 211.
