Consulting for Nonprofits
United Way Northern Utah’s Nonprofit Connection offers General Consulting (free) and Advanced Consulting (nominal fee) services for nonprofits.
Services are provided by qualified consultants, some of whom may be volunteers, and take place via video calling and/or in person at one of our offices.

General Consulting is free and includes topics such as:

Advanced Consulting
Advanced Consulting has a nominal fee and includes topics such as:
- Business Plan Development
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) Setup
- Executive Director Acquisition
- Organizational Health Assessment
- Polling and Focus Groups
Service Details
- Includes up to 6 hours
- Must be used within 4 months of payment date; unused hours expire
- Payment must be received before services begin
- Client must respond to communications in a timely manner
Fees
Clients self-declare a fee tier.
- Tier 1 - $345: organizations with annual gross revenue of $250,000+
- Tier 2 - $275: organizations with annual gross revenue of $249,999 or less
- Additional hours: may be added on the same consulting topic within 4 months of payment date. Fee is $45 per hour for Tier 1 and $38 per hour for Tier 2.
