WELCOME BABY

Become a home visitor: Make monthly visits to families with children aged 0-3 and ensure they have the resources they need to thrive. We ask our volunteers to commit to at least six months of serving two or more families. Each family on a volunteer's caseload only requires about two hours each month.

  • Training provided
  • Must pass a background check

LEARN WITH PLAYGROUP

Become a Class Helper: Learn with Playgroup is a program for families with children aged 0-5 to gain kindergarten readiness. Children and parents both experience various activities and education to ensure both are more confident in early childhood stages. We are looking for a class helper that would help the class leader set up, clean, engage with the participants, assist in class activities, take down, etc.

  • Gain experience in teaching and supporting children
  • Interact with parents or grandparents to young children
  • Flexible time commitment
  • Volunteer/Practicum hours for school

STUDENT SUCCESS

Become a mentor: Volunteer to mentor a student. You will work one-on-one with students 1-2 times a week to encourage them in their academic, behavioral, and social/emotional development. Typically, you will have the same students so that you have the opportunity to develop a relationship with the student and help them feel confident in their abilities to learn and grow.

  • Training provided
  • Must pass a background check
